My question is how to assign permanent IP address to HP 8210 as with the HP2055dn.Īddressing the 8210 from Safari returns:Ĩ210 times out after 15 minutes - ‘try again’ in Wired (802.3) reconnected to IP address 1.0.1.134 until next timeout. 2 Macs are macOS Sierra 10.12.5 I also have HP LaserJet P2055dn on same network with IP address (?) that is always powered on and available on the local network. Daily Powerup/Powerdown is usual (not always) in our office.Ĩ210 is Cat-5 connected to Apple Airport. I have HP OfficeJet Pro 8210 which does not maintain IP address 10.0.1.134 - this IP address is assigned at printer powerup. Sorry about the many words, but this problem has vexed me for many weeks.
